Finally, Yello gets her new Electromotive Tec3 installed! We have our
order in with Ground Control for some suspension. Hopefully it will
arrive soon and she'll be ready for her first auto-x!

Yello went out for her first auto-x today! We ran her in OSP at
Round 6 of the 2002 Slush Series where Vic took first place! She did
great! Vic worked hard to get some of the things installed before the
event. Results of how Vic, Elise and Scott did that day
can be found at
http://www.sfrscca.org/solo2/Results/2002/index.html .

Elise takes her for a run.

New Ground Control Advanced Design suspension was one of the
first things to get in the car.

A very naked Yello while she was getting her new carbon fiber hood
and fiber glass fenders. What size tire will we be able to fit in there?
Will we need to flare the fenders? SPECIAL THANKS to
Reitmeirs Werkstatt for all of
their help and support!

Thanks to Jeff Rosen, we are borrowing a Super Sprint header and
we've added the custom 3" exhaust.

The computer showing the Electromotive software while Dyno Tuning.

New solid bushings. It's amazing what a difference they make.

Another San Francisco Region Auto-x. Vic took top time of day.

Yep, the 285/30-18s fit on the rear!

The new exhaust was a little loud. We will be competing at the San Diego
Tour in a few weeks. Sound restrictions are strictly enforced.

Vic working on getting the resonator in. Since we know the rear 285s
fit, we've put the metal fenders back on so they can be rolled and the
285s can go on the front too. Also, we took out Jeff's header and put
in our own Kromer Craft header. See next photo.

Week of May 5
Attended the Atwater Pro on May 3/4 and decided to get the Supercharger
in for the Tour on May 10/11.

Everything is all ready for the supercharger to go in.

Supercharger is place in but not hooked up yet.

Vic working away to get it done and Dyno'd by Friday.

It's all in!

Ready for the Dyno

This is the most recent Dyno chart showing the Dyno run when the car was
naturally aspirated vs the supercharger. As you can see, we gained 120
HP at the wheels!
